Will the Universe come to an end?
No one knows the answer to this question. Astronomers believe that the Universe is getting bigger. Perhaps it will go on getting bigger forever, and will never come to an end. But the expansion of the Universe could be slowing. Perhaps it will stop, and will then begin to get smaller. Eventually, all the galaxies would collide and destroy one another.
